Cobertura Ronda de Dalt de Barcelona

Project description

The update of the executive project mainly focuses on establishing the necessary civil works phases to carry out the covering of the stretch of the Ronda de Dalt between PK 10+196.20 and PK 10+502.2; the latter PK corresponds to the end of a previously executed covering section (called Phase 1). In addition to this covering, the width of the Vallcarca avenue bridge (c/ Jericó) is included, where no new structure is built, but it is taken into account when equipping it with the corresponding tunnel facilities. Therefore, the new tunnel generated goes from PK 10+156.20 to PK 10+697.80, with a total length of 541.60 m.

In addition to updating the construction phases, various structural elements, temporary traffic diversions, a new work plan, and budget are also included in the scope of this updated project part. It includes risk analysis and the Project Operating Manual, as indicated in RD 635/2006, of May 26, on minimum safety requirements in road tunnels controlled by the State.

The update of the executive project for facilities includes all temporary and final elements necessary to comply with different applicable regulations (the aforementioned RD as well as the Technical Instruction for urban road tunnels in the city of Barcelona) and the requirements of different responsible entities for urban spaces in the city.
