Description of the project
In the project, the slopes of the following sections are collected:
SLOPE | ROAD | BEGINNING PK | END PK |
T1 | T-333 | 26+722 | 26+752 |
T2 | T-333 | 26+838 | 27+039 |
T3 | T-333 | 28+713 | 28+778 |
T4 | N-230b | 19+713 | 19+918 |
The current stability of the slopes where intervention took place was analyzed, and the most suitable solution for their stabilization was determined. The technologies used in the project are as follows:
Triple twist mesh: it is one of the most common systems for protection against small surface detachments, acting as an active stabilization system by reinforcing it with bolts, anchors, and steel cables.
Triple twist mesh and geogrid, anchored and reinforced with cables, as a component system anchored on a surface, capable of providing superficial stability to the slope, preventing erosion and possible detachments on it.
Steel cable mesh: as an active consolidation system, it involves continuous application of load over the entire ground surface, increasing the safety and reliability of bolting, with reduced environmental and visual impact, and without interfering with the natural drainage of the terrain.
Dynamic screens: these are able to control potential impacts of large rocks. These screens absorb the kinetic energy of masses that detach by deforming the barrier itself and the energy dissipating elements.
